Ultrafine tungsten carbide powder

High-hardness and high-strength ultrafine tungsten carbide powder for cemented carbide is manufactured by direct carburization reaction of tungsten oxide and carbon powder. In particular, the WCP Series (low-volume powder) having the reduced number of agglomerates and increased apparent density without changing the particle size has been developed. This powder helps reduce shrinkage during cemented carbide sintering and is most suitable as material for micro drills, end mills, etc. that require higher hardness and higher strength.

Low volume and ultrafine tungsten carbide powder

The low powder volume was achieved by combined ultrafine primary particles of tungsten carbide. In particular, WCR06J having the reduced number of agglomerates and increased apparent density without changing the particle size has been developed. This powder helps reduce shrinkage during cemented carbide sintering further.
