Electrode materials for discharge lamps
Tungsten, which has the highest melting point among metals, is utilized for electrodes in discharge lamps. Conventional tungsten falls short in meeting the demands of higher output and larger discharge lamps introduced in recent years. By employing high-density tungsten (SMD-W® series) produced using our specialized technique, we can achieve characteristics for discharge lamps that are unattainable with ordinary tungsten. Furthermore, we offer not only bar materials but also fully shaped and finished electrodes upon request.
