Molybdenum collimators for CT scaner

Superior processing technology enables the creation of complex high-precision designs
Molybdenum is utilized in CT scans for medical examinations and to detect physical abnormalities. The collimator plays a crucial role in eliminating scattered X-rays as they pass through the human body, making it essential for achieving high-definition imaging. As a result, exceptional quality is required in terms of dimensional accuracy, flatness, surface finish, and more. A.L.M.T. Corp. can provide a stable supply of high-precision products by leveraging its integrated production system from raw materials and its expertise in high-precision processing developed over many years.

This is the most conventional pure molybdenum material, exhibiting a high melting point and excellent high-temperature strength. It also demonstrates high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, excellent flatness, and outstanding workability.
Our advanced powder manufacturing technology and rolling methods enable the production of highly flat materials with thicknesses starting from 30µm (please consult us regarding thicknesses below 30µm). Utilizing high-precision processing techniques, we achieve micron-order accuracy in product finishing. Additionally, we provide shape processing services using a punching press.
